For Attorneys

A power of attorney is stronger
with your name on it.

When you prepare and register a client's power of attorney through POALock, the verification record itself attests to your involvement: every bank, title company, and hospital that checks the code sees "Attorney-Registered & Supervised" — with your name, firm, telephone, and email — before they see anything else. Instruments a stranger might question become instruments a professional stands behind, with a live registry declaring their status to the world.

Why Attorney Registration Matters

Authenticity that third parties can see — and call

⚖️

Your attestation, on the record

Every status check on an instrument you register displays your name, firm, telephone, and email as the attorney of record — a standing professional attestation that the instrument was prepared and executed under a lawyer's supervision.

🏦

Faster acceptance

Relying parties hesitate over documents nobody stands behind. An attorney-supervised registration answers the questions a bank officer actually has — who drafted this, was it executed properly, whom do I call — before they're asked.

🔒

Your client stays in control

You receive a limited attorney key for documents, riders, and the capacity video — never revocation. Your client claims the registration with a one-time code and becomes the only person on earth who can revoke it.

The program is an attorney marketplace, not an extension of any law practice: POA Lock Inc. supplies the registry and software; you supply the legal judgment. The attorney-client relationship is between you and your client, established under your own engagement agreement — you review the client’s selections, approve the final instrument, provide the state-specific advice, and remain professionally responsible for the representation. Attorneys in the program set their own fee for the engagement and are compensated for the registrations they bring — program terms are shown inside the attorney portal below. Client-facing pages never display your compensation arrangements.

Sign in — or create your verified account

Your account is tied to your bar credentials: state of admission, bar / registration number, and email. At launch, POALock verifies every account against the applicable state bar's attorney registry automatically before activation; in this pre-launch pilot the check is simulated and linked for manual confirmation.
