Record the principal answering six standard questions on camera at execution — contemporaneous evidence bearing on capacity and voluntariness, stored with the registration and disclosed only to parties you authorize. Add it during creation or registration, or purchase it later from the management panel.

Some states require a professional certification of the principal's competency in certain settings — Nevada, for example, requires a physician, APRN, psychologist, or psychiatrist certification attached to any POA signed while the principal resides in a hospital or care facility (NRS 162A.220). POALock generates the blank certificate free with every Nevada document; for $29, store the completed certificate with the registration so it is disclosed alongside the instrument to parties you authorize.
+$9
A formal, print-ready certificate reciting the registered instrument — principal, agent, execution date, who notarized it, and page count — with the verification code and barcode. Present it with the POA so a bank can match the paper in hand against the registration.
+$29
One sticker per page of the executed POA — each carrying the verification code and "Page X of N" — so a removed or substituted page is immediately apparent against the registered page count.
+$25
In the 48 states + D.C. that allow remote online notarization, complete your POA entirely online: schedule a commissioned remote notary, sign in a recorded video session, and pay the notary's own fee plus POALock's $25 arrangement fee. The notary's fee belongs to the notary — POALock charges the notary only a $5.99 processing fee to receive and transfer the client's payment.

Attorneys create and register instruments for their clients through a verified attorney account. Every status check then shows the instrument was attorney-registered and supervised, with the attorney of record's name, telephone, and email — added authenticity for every relying party. Attorneys set their own engagement fee; program terms are shown inside the attorney portal. Attorney portal →
For Banks, Title Companies & Law Firms
A single status check is $15 — a fraction of the cost of honoring a revoked instrument, or of turning away a valid one. Organizations that verify regularly save with a monthly plan.
