Remote Online Notarization

Notarize your POA
without leaving home.

In the 48 states and D.C. that allow it, your power of attorney can be completed entirely online: sign and have your signature notarized in a recorded audio-video session with a commissioned remote notary. Pick a notary below, choose a time, and pay their fee plus POALock's $25 arrangement fee — everything else happens on camera.

Schedule a Session

Book a remote notary

Choose the state whose law governs your power of attorney. You'll see the remote notaries commissioned there, their fee, and their next openings. Have government-issued photo ID ready for the session — identity verification on camera is part of every remote notarization.

For Remote Notaries

Notary portal — list your services, set your schedule, get paid

Set your own fee. You keep every cent of it minus a $5.99 processing charge for receiving the client's payment through the portal and transferring it to your bank; the client separately pays POALock a $25 arrangement fee. Your account is tied to your commission — state, number, and expiration — verified against your state's notary registry at launch (simulated in the pilot).

Pre-launch preview. In the pilot, accounts, schedules, bookings, and transfers are stored in this browser and payments are simulated. At launch: commission verification runs against each state's notary registry, sessions run on the notary's certified RON platform, and payouts settle by direct deposit through a regulated payment processor.
